Speaker 1:

Welcome to the she's On Fire podcast and welcome to the awakening. This isn't just another episode. This is the moment something shifts. I don't believe you landed here by accident. I don't believe in that. I believe you were pulled in, called and chosen to hear this exact message at this exact time, because the version of you that's been hiding in plain sight, she's about to burn.

Speaker 1:

This series isn't about passive inspiration. It's about waking up what's been asleep in you, the voice you buried, the fire you dimmed, the vision you almost forgot. So if something inside you has been whispering, there is more has been whispering, there is more. That voice is right, there is, and it can start right now. So there's a moment when your soul gets louder than your excuses and you know deep in your chest you can't go back to the life that you've been tolerating. Today I want to talk about that moment First, my moment, for for a minute, and maybe your moment too, but I want you to realize you may be overlooking moments. They're not all huge.

Speaker 1:

It didn't happen when I was on a stage or making six figures or living some highlight real life. Nope, it happened in the most ordinary of places Standing at the register in my grocery store. My cart wasn't overflowing. It literally had the bare necessities diapers, formula, a couple of things to get us through the week. We were on food stamps at the time and barely living paycheck to paycheck. I swipe my card and I heard that dreaded sound, that beeping sound that instantly makes your stomach drop. That beeping sound that instantly makes your stomach drop Declined. And, of course, then the cashier gave me that polite but pitying smile and in that moment I remembered food stamps didn't actually cover diapers or formula and I had to choose between do I feed my baby or do I make my baby clean.

Speaker 1:

And that's when it hit me, this pull like I've never felt before, like something in my chest had been pounding on the walls for years, screaming let me out. It wasn't neat, it wasn't pretty, it was messy and humiliating and terrifying, and humiliating and terrifying. But what I didn't realize at the time, it was also divine. I was done allowing the judgment of others to run my life. It was like this moment in time and it slowed down so much, like I was in slow motion. I was done. I wasn't going to allow people who are making fun of me for moving my business online, for trying to get clients seeing my content. I was done allowing that judgment to rule my life, to keep me from moving. To keep me from moving, to keep me silenced as I cried in my car, I vowed to learn how to propel myself forward, even when I had fear.

Speaker 1:

In that moment I was awakened. It was like a light turned on in my soul. Here's the thing no one tells you Awakenings don't just happen. Once I didn't have that awakening and all of a sudden I was a different person and I was putting myself out there. That's not the way it works. For the greater majority of people, women. They're not these Hollywood lightning bolts where you're instantly transformed While I felt more alive, like I felt like there was a fire burning inside me.

Speaker 1:

That day in the grocery store was just the beginning. It was the first awakening, and over the next few years there were more. Some quiet, like listening to a podcast late at night and something coming over me and realizing something else. Some slow, like finally understanding my worth and not doing things just for free. Some wildly inconvenient, like facing an opportunity that scared me so much. I wanted to run the other way. I wanted to run the other way and realizing fear was actually my compass, not my warning sign. And every time I leaned in, every time I said yes to that pull instead of stuffing it down. My fire grew. That she that I always talk about, that she inside me spoke louder.

Speaker 1:

But then came the biggest one, the loud one, what I like to call the holy one. I like to call the holy one. This one wasn't a whisper, it wasn't slow, it wasn't quiet, it was a roar. It was like God reached down and grabbed me by my shoulders and said you are here to go bigger. You are here to change women's lives. It's now time to really move. And you know what, if I hadn't allowed those smaller awakenings, if I had ignored those nudges, I would have missed this one. I wouldn't have had the courage or the faith or the foundation to leap. And I truly believe that we allow these things to come in.

Speaker 1:

If you're not allowing the small ones, if you're not honoring them, how do you think the big one is going to happen? So hear me when I say this honor your awakenings, even the small ones, in your day to day, that restless feeling, note it, that subtle dissatisfaction. Realize it's a nudge, that little whisper of I want more. Believe that you can have it. If you see someone else having it, you can have it too. The times you want to say no to someone, do it. None of this is you being ungrateful. It's your soul stretching, testing the edges of the life you've settled for but want differently. And when you ignore it, you tell yourself you're not ready, when in fact you are. But when you lean in even a little, you start building the muscle you'll need when the big one comes, and it could be any moment, it could be any day, it could be when you decide, when you decide. So here's what I want you to do today Grab a notebook, or even the notes app on your phone, let's not make this hard.

Speaker 1:

I want you to write down the moments, big or small, when you felt that pull in your chest Times. You felt something stirring inside of you. I know you have them, even if you didn't act on it. And then ask yourself what if every whisper, every nudge, every inconvenient moment that made you question your life wasn't random? What if they were invitations? What if they were the training grounds? What if they were the sacred setup for the version of you that's about to emerge? Because, guess what? They were Every awakening, no matter how small, was preparing you.

Speaker 1:

And it can be this one right now. It can be the big one, it can be the divine one, it can be the divine one, the one you can't ignore anymore. So don't, don't dismiss it, don't downplay it, don't push it to the next month or next Monday or whatever it is. The fire in your chest is not a coincidence, it is a calling, and this isn't just a podcast. This is your ignition. This is the moment you stop circling the life you want and step into the fire that will build it. I'll talk to you on the next one.
